Discounted pricing is applicable for fixed price items only.

Discount pricing (strike-through or markdown) only works on fixed-price listings, not auctions. Remove the discount or change the format.

Why this happens

A discount promotion is being applied to the listing, but the listing is an Auction, which cannot accept discounts. Why eBay enforces this: Discounted pricing shows a strike-through original price. eBay only allows it on Fixed Price listings, because auction prices are set by bidding. When it usually happens: It usually appears when a sale event or discount rule includes auctions.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing and remove the discount or original-price value, or exclude the listing from the promotion.
  2. If you want the discount, change the listing format to Fixed Price and republish.

How to prevent it

Filter promotions and discount rules to Fixed Price listings.
