The payment policy ID on the listing is not valid (deleted, wrong site, or mistyped in a CSV). Assign a current policy.

Why this happens

eBay may be restricting which payment methods this listing can use, or the Policy ID used in a CSV import file is not valid. Why eBay enforces this: The payment policy on a listing must exist on the same eBay site and be active. eBay refuses IDs that were deleted, mistyped or belong to another site. When it usually happens: It usually appears in CSV imports with policy IDs copied from another account, or after cleaning up policies.

Example Wrong Settings

CSV import uses payment policy ID 123456 from a different eBay account.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, refresh the eBay account's business policies.
  2. Open the listing and select a payment policy from the refreshed list.
  3. For CSV imports, use the numeric policy ID from the same eBay site, with no spaces.
  4. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Take policy IDs from 3Dsellers for the same account and site, and refresh policies after edits.
