To require immediate payment, you must specify a Buy It Now price.

An auction with immediate payment required must have a Buy It Now price. Add one or turn off immediate payment.

Why this happens

If you list an Auction with payment settings requiring the buyer to pay immediately, eBay requires a Buy It Now price. Why eBay enforces this: Immediate payment is only possible when a buyer can buy at a fixed price. An auction needs a Buy It Now price for eBay to require immediate payment. When it usually happens: It usually appears when a payment policy with immediate payment is assigned to auctions.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, either add a Buy It Now price to the auction, or assign a payment policy without the immediate-payment requirement.
  2. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Keep separate payment policies for auctions and Fixed Price listings.
