Photos cannot be edited because the listing has pending offers or already has the maximum number of pictures.

Why this happens

Either 1) The listing has too many photos to add more, or — 2) A product photo was removed or edited, but eBay temporarily blocked this action to protect buyers who are actively engaged in purchasing your item (or to prevent changes from occurring immediately before the listing ends). Why eBay enforces this: eBay limits photo edits on listings with pending offers, and caps the number of photos. Either reason blocks the change. When it usually happens: It usually appears when adding photos to a listing that already has 12, or editing photos while offers are open.

How to fix it

  1. Count the photos: eBay allows 12 per listing and 12 per variation. Remove extras if you are over the limit.
  2. Resolve open Best Offers on the listing in eBay.
  3. Republish the photo change from 3Dsellers.

How to prevent it

Keep listings at or below 12 photos and answer offers before editing the gallery.
