Why this happens

The category requires a condition and the listing has none, or the condition value is empty after a category change. Why eBay enforces this: Most eBay categories require a condition so buyers know if an item is new, used or refurbished. eBay refuses listings in those categories without one. When it usually happens: It usually appears on imported products whose source has no condition field.

Example Wrong Settings

A listing imported from a source that has no condition field, published without setting one.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing and set the condition (New, Used and so on).
  2. For imports, map the source condition field or set a default condition in the import settings.
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Set a default condition in import settings and include condition in every product template.

Condition is set to "New".
