Buy It Now price should be at least 30% more than your starting price.

eBay wants the auction's Buy It Now price at least 30% above the starting price. Raise it and republish.

Why this happens

The Auction's Buy It Now price is too low in comparison to the starting price. Why eBay enforces this: On many sites eBay requires Buy It Now on an auction to be at least 30 percent above the starting price, so the auction still has room for bidding. When it usually happens: It usually appears when the starting price is raised close to Buy It Now.

Example Wrong Settings

Starting price 100.00, Buy It Now 110.00.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the auction listing's pricing.
  2. Set Buy It Now to at least 130% of the starting price, or lower the starting price.
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Calculate Buy It Now as at least 1.3 times the starting price in auction templates.

Example Correct Settings

Starting price 100.00, Buy It Now 130.00.
