Why this happens

The listing's Item Specifics details were edited, but eBay temporarily blocked this action to protect buyers who are actively engaged in purchasing your item (or to prevent changes from occurring immediately before the listing ends). Why eBay enforces this: Item specifics describe the item buyers are bidding on or offering for. eBay locks them while there are bids, offers or less than 12 hours left. When it usually happens: It usually appears during bulk item-specific updates, such as filling Brand on all listings.

How to fix it

  1. Resolve open Best Offers on the listing in eBay.
  2. For an auction with a bid, wait for it to end and relist with the updated item specifics.
  3. Republish from 3Dsellers afterwards. If a bulk item-specifics action caused this, rerun it later for the listings that failed.

How to prevent it

Answer open offers first and rerun bulk item-specific actions for the listings that failed.
