Cannot list with both product listing details and item compatibilities.

The listing is linked to an eBay catalog product and also has a vehicle compatibility list. Keep one of the two.

Why this happens

The listing is linked to an eBay catalog product (ePID) and also has a vehicle compatibility list. eBay allows one or the other for the same listing. Why eBay enforces this: An eBay catalog product already includes fitment data. eBay does not allow a second, manual compatibility list next to it, because the two could contradict each other. When it usually happens: It usually appears on auto parts that were matched to an eBay catalog product after a compatibility table was added.

Example Wrong Settings

A car part is matched to an eBay catalog product and also has a manually added compatibility table.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing.
  2. To keep your own compatibility list, unlink the listing from the eBay catalog product (ePID).
  3. To use eBay's catalog data instead, remove the manual compatibility entries.
  4. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Choose one source of fitment data for each part: the eBay catalog, or your own compatibility list.

Example Correct Settings

The listing has a manual compatibility list and no catalog product link (or the reverse).
