Variation specific value ["____"] used for pictures does not exist in variation specific set.

Variation photos are assigned to an option value that no longer exists. Re-upload them for the current values.

Why this happens

Variation images are for a previous variations specific, not the current variation specifics. Why eBay enforces this: Each variation photo is tied to an option value, such as Navy. If that value was renamed or removed, eBay cannot place the photo. When it usually happens: It usually appears after color names were cleaned up in a supplier feed.

Example Wrong Settings

You previously uploaded images for "Colors" variations, but then changed "Colors" to another value, such as "Color Options." The images are still assigned to "Colors," instead of using the new variation specific name.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the Variations tab and the variation photos.
  2. Remove photos tied to old option values and assign photos to the current values.
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Update variation photo assignments at the same time as you rename option values.
