Only single item quantity is permitted when the listing is in auction-style or under selected categories in Fixed Price format.

Auctions and some categories allow a quantity of one only. Set quantity to 1 or change the format or category.

Why this happens

The Quantity is greater than one, but the listing is either an Auction, or in a special eBay category that only allows one quantity per listing. Why eBay enforces this: Auctions sell one item at a time, and some categories allow only one unit per listing. eBay refuses a higher quantity in those cases. When it usually happens: It usually appears when an auction template is used for multi-quantity products.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing and set the quantity to 1.
  2. If you need more than one unit, change the format to Fixed Price (or pick a category that allows multiple quantity) and set the quantity again.
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Keep auction templates at quantity 1 and use Fixed Price for multi-quantity stock.

Buy It Now Dutch Auctions are not supported at this time.
This eBay site does not allow Buy It Now on auctions with quantity above one. Remove Buy It Now or use Fixed Price.
