The variations in 3Dsellers differ from the ones on eBay, so a SKU was not found. Sync the listing and retry.

Why this happens

The listing's variations on eBay are different than the variations in your eBay software. Why eBay enforces this: Updates to a variation are matched by SKU. If the SKU does not exist in the live listing, eBay cannot find which variation to change. When it usually happens: It usually appears when variations were added or renamed in 3Dsellers but the eBay listing still has the old set.

Example Wrong Settings

Stock update for SKU SHOE-42 while the eBay listing only has SHOE-41 and SHOE-43.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, sync the listing from eBay so the variation set matches.
  2. Retry the update. If you intentionally removed a variation, republish the whole listing rather than a single-variation update.

How to prevent it

Republish the whole listing after adding or renaming variations, instead of sending stock updates only.

The listing is synced, and the full listing is republished to add SHOE-42.
