Missing name in the variation specifics or variation specifics set.

A variation is missing a value for one of its attributes. Fill every attribute on every variation.

Why this happens

At least one of the variations' specifics is missing an option value. Why eBay enforces this: Every variation must say which option it represents. A variation with an empty value cannot be shown in the menu, so eBay refuses the listing. When it usually happens: It usually appears after importing variations where some rows lack a size or color.

Variation 1 Size: "XS" — Variation 2 Size: "M" — Variation 3 Size: "__"

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the Variations tab and find variations with an empty attribute cell.
  2. Fill the value or delete the incomplete variation.
  3. If the listing was imported, sync it from eBay first so the variation set is current.
  4. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Check variation imports for empty attribute cells before publishing, and delete incomplete rows.
