A variation attribute has more than 60 distinct values. Reduce them or split the listing.

Why this happens

A variation attribute (for example Size) has more than 60 different values across the listing. eBay allows up to 60 values per variation attribute. Why eBay enforces this: eBay limits each variation attribute to 60 values so the size or color menu stays usable for buyers. More values are refused. When it usually happens: It usually appears in shoes or parts listings that combine many sizes or fitments into one attribute.

Example Wrong Settings

Size has 75 different values in one listing.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the Variations tab and count the distinct values of the attribute named in the error (for example Size).
  2. Reduce them to 60 or fewer, or split the product into several listings.
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Group large product ranges into several listings, for example one per size range or model family.
