Why this happens

eBay requires a listing's shipping settings and policies to include a handling time, but this listing does not include a handling time. Why eBay enforces this: Handling time tells buyers when the item will be dispatched and feeds eBay's delivery estimate. eBay requires it on every shipping policy. When it usually happens: It usually appears on custom shipping settings created without a handling time, or on imported listings.

How to fix it

  1. Edit the shipping policy in eBay Seller Hub (or in 3Dsellers if it is a custom policy) and set a handling time, for example 1 business day.
  2. Refresh policies in 3Dsellers and republish the listing.

How to prevent it

Set handling time in every shipping policy and use business policies instead of per-listing shipping settings.
