The SKU sent in the update differs from the SKU eBay stores for this item. Make them match or relist.

Why this happens

The listing is managed by SKU on eBay, and the SKU sent in the update does not match the SKU eBay has for that item ID. Why eBay enforces this: Listings managed by SKU on eBay are matched by that SKU. If an update carries a different SKU, eBay cannot be sure it is the same item, so it refuses the change. When it usually happens: It usually appears after SKUs were renamed in 3Dsellers or in a supplier feed while the eBay listing kept the old SKU.

Example Wrong Settings

The SKU was changed in 3Dsellers after the listing was published, so the update carries a different SKU than eBay stores.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, re-import the listing from eBay to pull the current SKU, or edit the SKU to match the custom label shown on eBay.
  2. If you need the new SKU on eBay, end the listing and relist it with the new SKU.

How to prevent it

Treat SKUs as permanent identifiers; if you must rename them, re-import listings from eBay or relist them with the new SKU.
