A mixture of Self Hosted and EPS pictures are not allowed.

The listing mixes photos hosted by eBay with photos hosted elsewhere, which eBay's API refuses. Re-upload all photos through 3Dsellers.

Why this happens

New images were uploaded with current eBay images, and eBay's API cannot add them without previous eBay image hosting. Why eBay enforces this: eBay hosts listing photos on its own picture service. It does not allow mixing photos already on that service with external photo links in the same update, because it cannot merge the two image sets. When it usually happens: It usually appears after importing a listing from eBay into 3Dsellers and adding new photos next to the original eBay-hosted ones. On eBay's local sites this error reads as follows. German: EPS-Bilder und selbstverwaltete Bilder können nicht kombiniert werden.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing's Photos tab.
  2. Delete all images, then upload the full set again so every photo is hosted by 3Dsellers.
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

When you change photos on an imported listing, replace the whole photo set at once.
