This item was not relisted because the listing does not exist or is still active.

The listing could not be relisted because eBay no longer has it, or it is still active. Sync listings, then relist or publish as new.

Why this happens

eBay may have deleted the ended listing, but the software you're using has not deleted the data yet. Or, the listing was relisted, but the software is not updated. Why eBay enforces this: eBay can only relist an ended listing that still exists in its records. If eBay has removed the ended listing, or the listing is still active, the relist request has nothing to act on. When it usually happens: It appears when a listing tool's copy of the listing is out of date, for example after the listing was relisted or ended directly on eBay.

Example Wrong Settings

Relist is run on an item that was already relisted on eBay yesterday under a new item ID.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, run a listings sync for the eBay account.
  2. If the listing is still active on eBay, revise it instead of relisting.
  3. If eBay deleted the ended listing, copy it to Drafts and publish it as a new listing.

How to prevent it

Sync listings before running relist actions, and avoid relisting the same items both on eBay and in 3Dsellers.

Example Correct Settings

Listings are synced first, so 3Dsellers sees the new item ID and revises that listing instead.
