The Buy It Now price must be higher than the starting price.

The Buy It Now price on an auction must be higher than the starting price. Adjust one of them and republish.

Why this happens

The Auction's Buy It Now price is less than or equal to the Starting price. Why eBay enforces this: Buy It Now on an auction only makes sense if it is higher than the opening bid. eBay requires it to be above the starting price, and on many sites at least 30 percent above. When it usually happens: It usually appears when the starting price is raised to limit low bids but Buy It Now is left unchanged.

Starting price 80.00 with Buy It Now 80.00.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the auction listing's pricing.
  2. Raise the Buy It Now price above the starting price (eBay usually wants at least 30% more), or lower the starting price.
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Set Buy It Now as a percentage of the starting price in your auction template so the two stay in step.

Example Correct Settings

Starting price 80.00 with Buy It Now 104.00 or higher.
