The Buy It Now price must be higher than or equal to the starting and reserve price.

The Buy It Now price on an auction must be at least the starting and reserve price. Raise it and republish.

Why this happens

The Auction's Reserve Price is greater than the Buy It Now price. Why eBay enforces this: In an auction the Buy It Now price is an instant-purchase option. eBay requires it to be at least the starting price and the reserve, otherwise a buyer could purchase below the minimum you set. When it usually happens: It usually follows raising the reserve on an auction template without updating Buy It Now.

Example Wrong Settings

Reserve = $10 — Buy It Now = $9

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the auction listing's pricing.
  2. Set the Buy It Now price equal to or higher than both the starting price and the reserve price.
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Keep auction prices in a fixed order (starting price, then reserve, then Buy It Now) and update all three together when pricing changes.

Reserve = $10 — Buy It Now = $10
