eBay rejects the item location's postal code. Check its format against the country and republish.

Why this happens

eBay is rejecting the item location's postal code. Why eBay enforces this: eBay checks the item location postal code before accepting a listing. If the code is not valid for the selected country, delivery estimates cannot be calculated. When it usually happens: It usually appears when the country field and postal code come from different sources, for example a store address and a warehouse address.

Example Wrong Settings

Country Canada with postal code 90210.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing's Item Location.
  2. Check the postal code format for the country and that it matches the city and country entered.
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Use one saved location per warehouse and assign it instead of typing location fields per listing.
