Enter a full UK PostalCode.

eBay UK needs the full postcode (outward and inward parts). Complete it and republish.

Why this happens

The postal code is incomplete or not properly formatted. Why eBay enforces this: UK postcodes have two parts, the outward code and the inward code. eBay UK needs the full postcode to calculate shipping and delivery estimates accurately. When it usually happens: It usually appears when only the first half of the postcode is entered, such as M1, or when the space between the parts is missing and the code is truncated.

Postcode M1.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing's Item Location.
  2. Enter the complete UK postcode with a space, for example SW1A 1AA.
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Save the full postcode in the account's default item location and copy it from there.

Example Correct Settings

Postcode M1 1AE.
