Why this happens

eBay is rejecting the selected Shipping Service for the Shipping Policy/ settings Why eBay enforces this: Carriers retire and rename services, and each eBay site only offers some of them. eBay refuses a shipping policy that uses a service that is no longer available or not offered for the package. When it usually happens: It usually appears after eBay retires a service (for example USPS First Class becoming Ground Advantage) and old policies still point at it.

Shipping policy uses USPS First Class Package, which eBay retired.

How to fix it

  1. Note the service name in the error.
  2. In eBay Seller Hub edit the shipping policy and replace that service with one currently offered for the site and package type.
  3. Refresh policies in 3Dsellers and republish the listing.

How to prevent it

Review shipping policies whenever eBay announces carrier changes, and refresh policies in 3Dsellers after editing them.
