Before you can list this item we need some additional information to create a seller's account.

eBay needs more account or business details before it lets you list. Complete the request in Seller Hub, then publish again.

Why this happens

eBay needs information about your business before they will allow publishing this listing. Why eBay enforces this: Before a seller can list, eBay must verify business and payout details to meet payment and tax regulations. Until those steps are completed, eBay blocks publishing. When it usually happens: It usually appears on newly created eBay accounts, on accounts switching to a business registration, or when eBay asks for updated identity or tax documents.

Example Wrong Settings

A new eBay account publishes its first bulk upload before finishing payout and identity setup.

How to fix it

  1. Log in to eBay Seller Hub and open the Overview page. Look for a red banner or a task asking for additional information (business details, identity, tax or bank information).
  2. Check eBay Messages for a message titled along the lines of "Action required" and follow its link.
  3. Complete every step eBay asks for. Verification can take from minutes to a few days.
  4. Once Seller Hub shows no open tasks, go back to 3Dsellers, open the listing and click Publish again.

How to prevent it

Complete every setup step in eBay Seller Hub before connecting a new account to bulk tools, and check Seller Hub notices whenever eBay emails about account verification.
