A photo URL has no file name, so eBay cannot fetch it. Re-upload the image or use a direct link to the file.

Why this happens

A product photo is uploaded using an external URL, but eBay cannot read the name of file. Why eBay enforces this: eBay copies each photo from its URL and needs a direct link to the image file. A link without a file name gives eBay nothing it can download reliably. When it usually happens: It appears with image links from CDNs or store platforms that serve images through parameters, or with cloud drive share pages.

Example Wrong Settings

Image URL is https://example-store.com/image?id=1234.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing's Photos tab and check each image that was added by URL.
  2. Links must point straight at the image file (ending in .jpg, .png or .webp).
  3. Delete any image with a page-style link and upload the file instead.
  4. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Upload images into 3Dsellers when importing from other stores, so every image has a stable direct link.

Example Correct Settings

Image is uploaded to 3Dsellers, or the URL ends with a file name such as blue-shirt-front.jpg.
