Picture URL has eBay domain.

A photo URL points at an eBay-hosted image from another listing. Upload the image to 3Dsellers so it gets its own URL.

Why this happens

One of the picture URLs points to an eBay-hosted image (an ebayimg.com address) that is not part of this listing's own eBay picture set. eBay only accepts its own image URLs when they belong to the same listing. Why eBay enforces this: eBay's picture service ties every hosted image to the listing it was uploaded for. Reusing an image address from another listing could show photos that belong to a different item or seller, so eBay refuses it. When it usually happens: It usually appears when listings are built by copying photo links from another eBay listing, a competitor's page or an older listing that was ended. On eBay's local sites this error reads as follows. French: L'URL de la photo comporte un domaine eBay.

Example Wrong Settings

Images were copied from another eBay listing, so the URLs start with https://i.ebayimg.com/.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing's Photos tab and find images whose address starts with i.ebayimg.com.
  2. Download those images, delete them from the listing and upload the files again so 3Dsellers hosts them.
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Never paste image links copied from other eBay listings. Import or upload the image files instead, so each listing has its own hosted copy.
