You entered more pictures than allowed.

eBay allows 12 photos per listing and 12 per variation. Remove the extra images and republish.

Why this happens

There are more than 12 images for the listing or for a variation. Why eBay enforces this: eBay allows up to 12 photos per listing and 12 per variation on most categories. The limit keeps listing pages fast and consistent, and eBay refuses requests with more. When it usually happens: It usually appears when supplier feeds send 15 to 30 images per product, or when variation photos are added on top of the main gallery.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing's Photos tab and count the images. Keep the best 12.
  2. If the listing has variations, open each variation's photos and keep at most 12 per variation.
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Limit images to 12 in import settings, and pick the first image carefully because it becomes the gallery image in search.
