Gallery URL has no file name.

The main photo URL has no file name, so eBay cannot fetch it. Re-upload the image or use a direct link that ends in the file name.

Why this happens

The main product photo is uploaded using an external URL, but eBay cannot read the name of file. Why eBay enforces this: eBay downloads the gallery image from the address you provide. The address must point directly at an image file so eBay knows the file type and can copy it to its servers. When it usually happens: It appears when an image link points to a product page, a cloud drive share page or a URL with parameters instead of the file itself.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing's Photos tab and look at the first image.
  2. If it was added by URL, the link must point straight at the file (ending in .jpg, .png or .webp), not at a page or a redirect.
  3. Easiest fix: delete the image and upload the file to 3Dsellers so it is hosted with a proper file name.
  4. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Upload images to 3Dsellers instead of linking to them, and never use share links from cloud drives as image URLs.
